“It is indeed a pleasure to do business with a company that is staffed with quality, qualified people and is as service-oriented as your company. My mother’s manufactured home is a little over a year old, and she has been having problems with her HVAC unit since she moved in. Getting the “unnamed” warranty company to come 50 miles to fix it was like pulling teeth. They have been here four times that I know of. It always took days or weeks to get them here, and it never got fixed properly. In fact, the last time they were here, they put a temporary fix on the heater (the air conditioner wouldn’t work) with a promise to come back in a week. That was three months ago, and I haven’t seen them since.
I called your company last Friday morning, the phone was answered by a pleasant young woman who took my service call. A service man was at my mother’s home early that same afternoon. I was extremely impressed with Mr. Wiertz, the service man who was dispatched. His high degree of technical knowledge and his skill and efficiency enabled him to isolate the problem in a very short time.
There were two options open, and he explained thoroughly to me that they would permit both units to be operational—but would require another service call. The ultimate fix would require a new cable to be run from the thermostat to the heating unit through the floor and under the house. It had been raining previously, and the mud and standing water under the house was a strong argument to wait. (I wouldn’t have gone under there!) Mr. Wiertz decided on his own to go the extra mile, put on his coveralls and get the job done. Everything is now working properly, my mother is happy, and believe me, when my mother is happy, everyone is happy.
